> T630 not a successor for the T610

The t630 is actually not an upgrade for the t610. It is a less classy model designed for a different market. (i mean a market different than for the t610).
What i think and know is the actual real successor for the t610 would be comming out in end of 2004 or beginning of 2005 with memory upgrade (6-10mb), camera upgrade (1.3 mp), video recording feature.

The T630 may be aimed at a slightly different niche market. Of course, why not? After all the T610 is still an excellent seller, it does not neeed to be replaced just yet.
But there will be other, better models in 2004. I can't even imagine where we will be in 2005 (and neither can you gseth!)
as for what gseth says he knows, I think I'll take that with a grain of salt

but isn't this kinda dumb, I mean why don't we talk about p1000 and t690 and z5000 and.....
enjoy t610 it's a great phone it doesn't need a sucessor now, when it does (next year) then we can talk about it, but now it's just dumb
oh and BTW I think everybody knew that a TFT and a different casing can't make a sucesor

I don't know what they have up their sleeves, but I think the T630 is not that signivicant, and all it has new is the Wireless Willage client.
I do however look forward to seeing what they have in store for us on CeBIT next year... or the week before CeBIT like usually.
T650? or T610i? I know that if they would only further improve the T610's display, cram in a memory stick Duo slot? (Siemens did it with the SL45, a smaller phone) and a better camera... I would be very very happy! Even if they don't come up with memory stick Duo and only increased memory... I'd still be very happy!
