> p800 battery problem

had my p800 2 monmths now, first battery i got was crap, cos i got it off a friend, so i went and bought anew one....
now ive done the 16 hr charge and all that, about 20 odd times, yet my battery only lasts for a day at the very max.....
any ideas why? the phone seems to munch on battery....
help!!

and can some one get a link to that freeware program that shuts down apps thats running in the background, its would be nice

dont think your battery has a problem. try using Sman, switcher, handyday, tracker, etc... to close uwanted programs running in the background

Has anyone bought a battery off Ebay. The reason im asking is that my P800 hardly lasts a day at the most these days...and theres me hoping to use it as a mp3 player while I study...
So i got two options...
1) Buy the HBM-30 mp3 player.
2) carry around a spare battery (cheaper option)
but how good are the £20 batteries from ebay?

while this topic is on the list i make this question, doesnt the p800 drain more battery when C: is more or less ful? my battery was really good from the start then it started to drain more and more, and one day it didnt last a day, and then it said C: was corruped so it formated without question (damn) but ever sense it last for weeks, and i dont fill my C: drive...
