Hi guys,

I'm new to T610 and this forum. I bought my T610 a week ago and I just got my firmware updated today to R3C002, the guy who did it for me said it's the latest one that came out only a few days ago. I didn't know which firmware version I had before the update, I didn't know how to check then. I read that it's printed on the box which the phone came in, so I checked the box and it says R4A. Is R3C still newer than R4A? Is there a website somewhere that lists all the T610 firmware versions, release dates and bugs fixed? It'd be great if you guys can give me some more background information on this topic, thanks!

The version R4A on the box is the hardware version whereas the R3C version you mention is the firmware (software) version.

the version number on the box doesn't always correspond with the hardware version on the phone... so the number on the box is another version number...

really? I always double check the box version with the hardware version and so far on 9

phones we've been through in the family always a match but I will be checking more closely having heard that from you!

it wasn't the same on the ~100 T610 phones (and ~75 phones last week) I locked earlier this week...
