As you all know the T9 dictionary will sort the word lists to put the most used words at the top of the list which is a good idea but I'm having a few problems with it.
Words I use a lot stay at the top for a while then randomly be replaced by words I NEVER use. The most used words will eventually return to the top but then it happens again later. For example the word 'love' keeps being replaced by the word 'loud' and the word 'you' was moved to third in the list behind 'wot' and 'wou'!! it happens with others too but you dont wanna hear bout them all lol.
Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem??
Tom

Do have a similar experience.
My guess is that despite being a "smart" T9, the phone still employs a certain amount of memory to retain the "most used" words in the dict.
Once the memory is filled up or as user add more new words being used often, a "memory spill" effect takes place and some words that used to be at the top gets relegated back to the bottom.
just a guess...

Yup! Same here.
Offering "CD" for "be" was infuriating... I had to do a hard reset to get rid of this.
Does anyone know if there is a way of editing the dictionary?

I'm with you, guys. Really annoying.
Especially when I write "..." after a sentence three times in each message and that still is replaced by a kissing smiley.

Anyone had their phone crash whilst wap browsing and when you switch on again, you've lost all the words saved in \"my words\"?

I hope this helps!

there is away of editing the "my words", i had this problem with my phone, when i type the word "to", i end up with "um" being displayed and it freaks me out having to change it all the time, im not sure if u can edit the dictionary, but u can edit "My Words" section, just go into a new message, either by left on the joystick or by going thru the menu's, once in there if u hit the more button and scroll down to my words, u can search thru them and press the delete button, hope this helps you out, steve

It is really annoying.
And sometimes it just saves words when I haven't entered them

SE should fix this!
