i put that in my system\data\beatnik but i dint notice any diff in the sounds quality?
is there any paticuar kind of format it affects? or i have to activate it 1st?

You should notice that it takes like 10 seconds to load up longer Midi's because the bank is much larger, check the file size u have is around 425k if so its the right patch, try new midi files, or RMF files, i have only noticed a difference on larger midi files or ones not standard by
. For example michael jackson - dont stop sounds much better and Faithless - insomnia does too.
the standard p800 midi files sound very similar with the larger patch so no gains there, you'll only hear the improvement with newer files.
