I appologize if this has already been discussed, but I think it's time for an updated search engine.

My problem is that when I connect my chatboard to my t68i, my t68i will automatically restart after about 2 minutes of usage with my chatboard. Has anyone else had this problem? if so, what solved it? possible software upgrade? no other accessories cause this problem and as a matter of fact this is the first time i have ever run into a problem with any S.E. products.

thanks for the help!

I guess there has been some minor problems with regards to the latest chatboards. Is the one you have has a color black board and colored keys like orange etc??? I don't encounter the problem you are experiencing but what I have is that I cannot "TYPE" letters in "SMALL CAPS" or lower case when sending SMS !!! But everything else is just doing fine - no restarting or whatsoever. I used to have the old model with my T10 - that I got to say is a perfect one, considering it's being simple for a non-color fone. Try attaching another chatboard with your T68i if problem still insist, I guess your fone has a defect - that can be remedied, but if not, maybe your personal chatboard has. Thanks!

What software do you have on your t68i ? also what kind of chatboard do you have ? i have the cha-10 with my t68i and never ever had any problems with it ... i run with version r7a013 !

@jojo51069
In order to use " small caps " do the following ... when you start writing with your chatboard , the first letter is always going to be in small caps ... so after the first one , press shift and then space , that should solve your problem !

I am using the cha-10 chatboard (the latest and last model released). As for my software version, i know it is old, but i live in the U.S. and really don't want to have to send my phone to S.E. in Minnesota or to a mobile store on the west coast. but my software version is R3E002. I use this same chatboard with my t300, t28world, and R520 and never have problems with it. the problems with my t68i and cha-10 started just 3 days ago after using it together for 1 year. I can also use a variety of accessories with my t68i with no problems, such as the hpr-20, hpm-10, mca-25, etc.

thanks for your help!

Thanks for the advice Neo (chatboard - small caps) ! You've always been around when I need some help - SE fone misfortunes. May your tribe increase and good luck. By the way, are you a fone technician by profession ???

I tried your suggesstion "NEO" - and it "WORKED" - are you a "GOD", or am I just that "STUPID" ???. Though there has been some typo error - I guess when you said that letters start with a "SMALL" letter when using the chatborad and then sending an sms - but mine starts with a "CAPITAL" letter - what gives???????????????????????????????????????????????. At any rate, you've just solved just "ONE" of my many problems re: SE fones. Thanks mate !!!
