Hi all

hope someone can help.
I've been trying to send a sound recording made
thru my t68i via MMS but im getting this error back "GPRS parameters not supported"
I have searched the forum, and there's a LOT! of
posts with this in them, but i didnt see anything
related totally to my problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Have you been able to send MMS before?
If yes, it could be that the file is too large.
If no, phone Vodafone and get them to enable MMS/GPRS on your sim card, they will then set it up for you and it will usually be enabled within 48 hours, but most of the time it is done fairly instantly.
If your sim is already set up for MMS/GPRS then go to either the Vodafone site or the SonyEricsson site and download the relevant settings.

-T68- thanks for the speedy reply
In answer to your questions, no i haven't sent
a MMS before, however ive rang Vodaphone up
already to have all the options enabled.
That was 3 days ago, so it should all be ok on that front.
The sound recording was 30 secs long, with a file size of 21KB> is this ok?
I shall have a look at the Vodaphone/Sony Eriksson website.
I'll be back!

Is there a blue triangle above your signal strength bars?
If so then GPRS IS enabled.
I'm not sure what the max file siz is for vodafone, but you could maybe try sending someone an MMS of a smaller size first to see if it sends okay, then you will know if the size of the file is or is not the problem.

Sorry for the late reply, yeah, the same process applies for WAP but if you want e-mail setings run a search on this forum for them, I use a BT Openworld E-mail account, so if thats what you use I can give you all the correct settings for that.

@Uggoo,
I have a similar, if not the same problem; I'm also on Voda UK with T610. I can access wap pages and send/recieve emails using gprs yet can't seem to send/recieve MMS messages of any size. The phone says its sending, the progress bar moves 1/3rd of the way, pauses for a while then says "Communication error, please try again later". Its the same when recieving, says Downloading, pauses then same message.
This has been happening for a good few weeks now with no change. Vodafone haven't been able to help either.
Anyone else out there experiencing anything like this?
Cheers
Gub

Have you guys tried what I said above?
The first thing you should do is call vodafone and let them know.
