If you have a T610 on vodafone and you want normal

SW try this
i contacted vodafone asked for network unlocking code.
unlocked my mobile
contacted

and said to them that i had a t610 on vodafone and had unlocked it and i needed an SW update BUT would it be possible to have non vodafone live SW because it makes the fone look cheap and spoils the fone. he said that this was okay to do and that 40+ people had foned in today only asking if it could be done
Im sending my mobile to celestica tomorrow ill let you know what happens wish me luck!

Yea i had to tell them my imei 4 an unloking code is £19.99

I rang vodafone and they are getting me an unlocking code...they say it will take about a week 4 it to come thru. After you recieve it, what do you do to impliment it...so it will work?

You get the unlocking code along with instructions on how to apply it to the correct 'hidden' service menu. If you feel nervous, use another phone to contact customer care so they can get someone to run through it with you.
If you want the original Sony Ericsson firmware for your phone, you will have to contact a Sony Ericsson service centre and arrange it on your own.

Also, I tried going into the 'secret' menu...and you cannot select any of the locks. Hmm. Any Advice?

the secret menu u need to enter is: NOT the service menu! (which only shows you the status of the phone locks)
