I'm sure this has been answered here before but i'm asking again (yes i know i can

but there are loads of posts about sms and alerts)

My question is a mate has a t610 and wants to know if the sounds you can insert/recive on sms msg's (claps fanfare ta-da etc)can be used as ringtones or sms alerts. and if so how?

I dont think they can be used as ringtones my friend. but why would anyone want them to be? they arent
even that good.
