I'm asking the new p900 owners who previously had/still have the p800 w/ varying phone habits as to how they compare the battery life to the p800

Apparently P900 has a 1250mAh (P800 has a 1000mAh), but has the same battery code name as claimed by Unofficial Club Sony Ericsson in their P800 - P900 comparison table: http://www.clubsonyericsson.com/en/products_p900.htm#table

Actually it is not only the battery that play a part in keeping the battery life to be as long as that of a P800 considering the new 65k colours screen and the second processor. The virtual keypad is not there most of the time (new electrical keypad for P900), thus, this will reduce the power usage. The battery usage is also reduced by other factors.
