Anyone can help me?
I bought a new 128MB memory card duo yesterday, but i cant write to the card thru the phone...it says its read-only. i followed to tip for formating to 4096 to save space and it didnt help. i then did normal formating (all of this thru a card reader) and still cant. at best i can read the contents in the phone but cannot write. wats the problem?

Try formating the card whilst in the phone to see if its a faulty card, if it does work then maybe its the way you are formatting it with the reader? did u use a command interface such as dos to format it?

I know it sounds stupid but does the card have a manual switch on the outside of the card i know mine has and is that locked or not? Switch it and see if you have the same problems.

Take the stick out of the phone look on the underside where the product code is printed you should see the word lock and a tiny switch underneath if there is no switch i cant help you but if there is use the stylus and switch it, see if that works.
If that still doesnt work try using the phone to format it? have u tried that already?

what firmware do you have?
i dont even think it will be a firmware issue but still.
also try the stick in something else, do u know anyone that has ms ports? try it in there, if that does nothing then i would say its probably a faulty stick, see if the place where u bought it from can fix it for u.
