Hi

I was wondering.. would anyone know if the P900 allows the alarm to go off even when the unit is turned off? The P800 didnt have that feature so before i get a P900 i would like to know if the alarm will go off even when phone is turned off.

Any thoughts?

Its true i'm afraid, still just a case of having to put the phone into flightmode same as with the P800, at least that still works but i'm not bothered too much because i never turn mine off much anyway. This message was posted from a P800

ooooh!!! so that button does other stuff too? I thought it was the magical bring to life button

But seriously as BB24 said... the flight mode option is the best idea, its not like anyone is gonna be able to call you then and wake you up then hmm???

Why would you want to turn a p800 off anyway? If you have to quickly check an appointment or something, you have to wait for it to boot up then continue...

@kahus, pleased to meet you

Putting the P800/900 into "flight mode" IS efectively switching the phone "off", it only leaves the PDA part "on".
My question is this, what are you trying to achieve ?

If you want phone on & alarm on = you CAN have this.
If you want phone on & alarm off = you CAN have this.
If you want phone off & alarm on = you CAN have this.
If you want phone off & alarm off = you CAN have this.

This aplies tto P800 & P900, what more do you want....Alarm to work with the battery OUT ?
