> T610 countdown timer

Sorry if this has already been discussed - I did have a look around, but couldn't find it.
I have a T610 on Orange (I think it is SW R1L013 - correct me if that isn't right!).
I have tried to use the timer function, exiting to the main screen after it is set. When I go back onto the main menu, the timer is paused and will not restart without completely resetting it.
Is this fixed with a software update? If so, will it be free from CPW in Leeds? The phone is 1 month old.

I use the timer on my T610 (still R1A!) daily and have never noticed such a problem.
A software update will be free and you may as well get it done to see if it fixes this. CPW might ask you for a reason why the phone needs updating to qualify for it to be free, and if so this problem should be good enough. If they want something better, just say you need faster Java too.
