hello guys..its been a while since i logged on here.
I have a quick 2 questions:
1.has anyone used the P900? and how much better is it than the P800?any key features?
2. I noticed on this web site next to EXTERNAL MEMORY column in the comparison columns of P800 and P900 that there is a substitute of P900 coming out by mid 2004!!! what do they mean by a substitute of P900??? will someone clarify this please? the point is mentioned in this comparison next to external memory column under P900.
http://www.clubsonyericsson.com/en/products_p900.htm#table

thanks a bunch in advance..

1. In-depth review of the P900 can be found at www.my-symbian.com

2. The rumour is that as the P900 is just an upgrade of the P800 there is a "real" new Smartphone slted for Q2/Q3 of 2004 that would also include WiFi

oh no, not another one. surely there can't already be rumours; the p900 hasn't even hit the shops yet.

Thanks Jah for your reply. Would anyone confirm THIS rumor about a new phone(similar to P800/P900) by sonyericsson next year? shit, man. it would svck buying a new phone to see it becoming a second fiddle in no time!

I wouldn't let rumours of a new phone coming out next year put you off buying the P900. The rumours may not be true, and even if they are there is a very good chance it will keep being delayed.

If you think the P900 suits your needs then go with that. There will always be something better coming out just around the corner, but if you wait for that "something better" then you will never buy anything.

I agree with drinker, I have a P800 but I will also be buying a P900 as there is enough of a difference, for me, to make the upgrade worthwhile (64K backlight screen, an electronic keypad, better stylus and slimmer design).

@drinker, I totally agree with you too.

I bought my P800 knowing full well that the release of the P900 would come really quick, but haha I've been waiting for the P800 price to drop, I'm just a student you know, the P900 price probably wouldn't fit my pocket

@D_G

I heard that the P900 has been released in Dubai.

how much is it? I heard that some shops are selling at a crazy US$453.

Is this true?

Everything is superceded within a couple of months (computers, televisions, cars, phones) it is upto the individual to decide if they need the upgrade NOW or to stick with what you have until the price becomes affordable for YOU
