I'm connecting to a regular dialup ISP through my T300 via infrared. It works well but I am wondering how to get a higher speed than 9.6kbps. I noticed something regarding data rate for setting up data connections on the phone for WAP?, which makes me believe that the phone is capable of faster speeds (28.8k?).
I know its still slow but its better than how it is now and I'd rather not pay for service by byte through my provider.

9.6kbps is about the best speed you can expect on dialup unless your carrier supports 14.4kbps.
