No, that is not possible, if u backup your p800 and restore the backup to the p900, problems will accure, like applications not working, it is the same as r2b firmware backup to restore on a r2f firmware...

U can keep the old connection, but if u put your gsm card in your p900, u have to make the new connection, configure!

How do u mean, as i said, it is actually a BIG problem if u want your:
- Contacts
- Agenda
- Files (pics, video, sound)

from the p800 to the p900, u cant just make a backup from the your p800 and restore it on a p800, like turning a ferrari in to a porsche :S :?

There is one wat and that is making a manually backup...!

i think you can just copy them to your computer (use the new PC suite or epocware's file manager), then transfer it to your p900.

What do you think you will lose???
The only thing, i can imagine, that you can't just save and upload again to a new phone is the configuration...(email configuration, voice dialing,....)
Software must be no problem, just download them and install them again
Contact person and appointements are in your Outlook.
MP3, Ogg, sms, mails and pictures are simply to be downloaded to your PC.

there are post that relates to restoring your files but I don't think sms folder will be restored b ut agenda, jotter contacts etc will be restored successfully.
