Does anyone know if there is an app that plays .rm files.

And yes I have done a search.

Sorry if this is old news.

I asked this question not long ago!

The answer unfortuanately is No. Real have signed an exclusivity deal with Nokia. They have produced the Real One Player. Exclusive to Nokia Series 60 phones.

Great shame, as you will know, .rm files are much more compressed than Mp3, WAv and most other audio files.

I have also tried to search for a converter, from .RM to MP3

Ther is an app out there called Unreal Player.
Now, I'm not sure whether this app will read .rm files or not. (Worth a go though I think !)

The other alternative is that you convert your MP3's to .ogg files, there a factor smaller with the same sound quality as MP3's!

Thanks for your help...

Nice one, now all you need to do is convert them on from MP3 to .ogg files. You can cram more of them in to your phone now!

Ogg is just THE best compressor there is....
And maybe you can use an existing thread about this subject before starting a new one???

@ blue

I wouldn't necessarily say that ogg was the best compressor out there, I mean the files are still pretty hefty depending on the length of the song!
You would be right if you said that ogg was the best compressor for p800 music playback and storage!
