Hi. I'm new to Ericssons after 5 years of Nokia.

Just wondering... how long should the first charge of the T610's battery be? The manual says 4 hours, I've always given any new battery a 12 hour charge and always got great battery life. Friends who gave it 4 hours got very poor life in comparison.

So 4 or 12 hours? I'm inclined to give it 12.

This has been discussed many times mate.

The manual says 4 hours... the manual is written by

as is the phone, so you should follow what they say.

If you decide to do your own thing based on what friends say, well thats up to you.
