ok folks,
i'm just trying out o2's phonesync online, seems good so far, using my o2 payandgo sim which has free wap and my t68...still sending entries will post when succesful...it looks like you can use it from any network so worth taking a look if your UK based.
has anyone tried out the o2 'home' bolt on? ...any thoughts or details on how it works, i'm interested in the £9.99 bolt on with 100 anytime minutes to landlines or any uk network but not 100% on how it works.
any comments good or bad appreciated.
decoy.

Evening. You should be able to find details on the home bolt on from the website. I believe you have to register your postcode and i believe it works by the network recognising which cells are in your area and any calls made off them are counted as 'home' callls. I may be wrong but i doubt it lol. I can check when i'm back in work next monday though

If you ring 2202 free from your 02 phone it will explain it to you.

thanks for the reply guys,
i'm looking for anyone who has experience of using the service as the web has all the details but 'plain english' terms are not something mobile operators are good at using, especially o2.

Some interesting news on this. Your phonesync account appears to be restricted to the O2 network. When I called them to find out more they wouldn't tell what would happen to my account if I switched networks! I now use Phonesaved.com ok, it's not free but it's network independant, they support alot more phones and you can store a lot more numbers per contact.

cheers jambo,
in the end it never worked for me, stopped at Contact #45, but nothing appeared online....i retried a few times to no avail.
i've got an old Genie payg simcard, not sure if this matters, GPRS wont work for me either but wap is free so cant complain.
