> blue triangle above signal bars???

the subject says it all! does anybody no y or what the blue triangle that shows up now an again above the signal bars? it usually appears when you have a full signal, but then somtimes it just has a blue line in the corner instead of a full triangle! it's annoying not nowing.

You mean as in the gprs signal strenth?
By george i think you've got it, cause when i go onto my wap the triangle becomes full, then sign off it and it goes cheers mate!

Thats unusual behaviour. Normally if you are able to use GPRS then the triangle is filled continuously whether you are currently in a GPRS connection or not.
If the triangle just has a border but is not filled in, it means that GPRS is within range but you are not connected to it, presumably because your operator has not enabled it for you.

My GPRS indicator only apears when I'm using the connection on either WAP or Email. The blue line or triangle are not there otherwise. Strange as I thought the blue line would be there when GPRS is available.

yeah very strange. I'm currently looking at two T610s, one vodafone UK and the other O2 DE and both show full filled triangles and I am not doing anything on those phones. The T68is I had before and the P800 was exactly the same.
Reading the manual it also describes it as I wrote it in my last reply.
Oh well... as long as its working...

The blue triangle is only an indicator you can still use gprs if it is set up with your operator.
If you go to-
desktop,
connectivity,
data comm,
preferred service,
you can then choose gprs and gsm or gsm only to turn the indicator on or off.
