I don't know why, recently my P800 battery dry very fast. For the
fully charged battery, I only can use up to 6 hours ! No bluetooth, no
infrared, no screen saver, backlight turn off, uninstall unnecessary
software, use original battery, signal is good, no wap, no GPRS, not
make many call etc.

Almost averything !! But the problem still same. One thing I noticed
from my phone is some heat generated at the back of my phone,
probably from battery...

Do you have this problem ? Any clue before I throw away my
handphone (:

Please help !

Regards,

@p800my

Hi!

I suggest you take your unit to an SE service center first and let them decide the proper course of action.

Anyway, you mentioned that there was some heat probably being generated by the battery. Maybe your battery is being shorted out.

Ouch... then you probably have a defective phone.
You should take it to a service center as soon as possible.

Try using Sman a free software and see whether there are any applications running in the background. Usually most applications don't close fully and it tend to run in the background which will drain the battery. Also do you have the camcoder application for the p800 its known to drain the battery like anything

Even I close all the applications include Camcoder, the problem
still the same.

Will it caused from installed software ?

Did you close the camcoder using the Sman? If you did then it should solve the problem but believe me that is a crap software the camcoder one so uninstall it and you will be just fine.
