> Scratches on T610

ARGH! I just got my T610 a week ago and I've already managed to scratch it! Not only that.. its on the FRONT cover which I hear is hard to replace... Any suggestions? Don't suggest buying a plastic protection case cos I already have, but I hate it cos it makes it look so tacky! I want to fix it up! A friend suggested using nail polish... but she lost me from there onwards.
P.S. Do SE even sell phone covers for the T610 yet?

Let's say you change the colour on your t610 from silver to blue. Then one day you have a problem with your phone and you take it to a service point. They will probably be able to see from the IMEI number that your phone used to be silver and if you cannot show a receipt from an authorised service point saying they have changed the cover, they probably won't fix your phone anymore. But if you put the silver cover back on, will they have any way of telling that you have taken your phone apart?
Anyone have any experience with something like that?
Cheers,

not with the t610 but i've done a similar thing with a t68i.
i had one with teh blue silver cover, and decided one day to change it. i changed it to some cheap black one off ebay.
then one day i had to take my phone to vodafone becuase the phone wouldn't read the sim card. the phone was insured but opening it would have voided the insurance. i put the orignal covers back on, gave the phone in, and vodafone sent it in to wherever they send it. and it came back fixed. no problems with voided insurance or warranty or anything.
i'm actually waiting for a clear case for my t610 becuase i don't really like the fingerprints on the shiny black, plus the phone willl sell for more when i upgrade if the cover is in as new condiiton. i'll post pics when i have it!!
