I bought a t610 when I was in USA. It's a t-mobile phone and it has the wap settings of this operator. Now I turned back to Turkey -I live in Turkey- and tried to set the wap settings of my operator. I should set a data account having CID=1 in order to access the wap (my operator wants it) but I can't delete the settings of t-mobile in the first place. What should I do to delete t-mobile's account?

did you try pressing the 'c' key to delete the data account?

Alternatively you could just edit the data account you have to the new settings.

Ok well it would have helped if you had said in the first place what you tried and what messages you got.

You are only left with trying things like the 13 second trick (or any of its variations) to try and get rid of predefined items.

personally I believe the wap settings you want to setup will work with any CID as that is something internal to the phone and the wap service provider cannot possibly know what CID you have used.

what is the 13 second trick?
i agree with you in your cid opinion but i experienced the same problem with my old t65. it had another operator's settings in turkey but i successfully deleted it by pressing the "c" button. cid=1 is a must

i tried the 13 second trick but it hasn't worked and my phone is gone. when i try to open it all i see is a damn hourglass. I think it's over. Does anybody has a suggestion instead of throwing the phone into a bin?
