Sony Ericsson officially announced a new Sony Ericsson P900 Symbian based smartphone to be available starting next month.

Today Epocware / Paragon Software Group is proud to present soon after the day of the official launch of P900 the first software solutions adapted for this new smartphone - Handy utilities:

· Handy Day
· Handy Safe
· Handy Databank
· Handy Expense
· Handy Book
· Handy Dates

They are now fully compatible with new Sony Ericsson’s smartphone. These personal productivity tools offer an opportunity to increase P900 potential greatly and customize it according to customer’s needs.

At present Epocware / Paragon Software Group actively works on porting all the variety of popular SlovoEd dictionaries for UIQ to this new P900. The new version of the dictionary engine and new dictionary databases will be released in the nearest future. In particular one will be able to try English-English, English-German, English-French, English-Italian, English-Spanish, and other SlovoEd dictionaries for P900.

I bought Handy Day (4.1) & Handy Safe (3.5) for my P800.

If I buy a P900 will the latest version of Handy Day for my P800 (4.1) work on the P900 or do I have to download and buy another version of Handy Day just for the P900.

Is this still the case? because I dont really want to spend another £40/50 on Handy day/ safe/ database etc all over again when I get my new P900

Theoretically, they should work. I guess they're just imporving the graphics (because of the new screen) and some tweaks to comply with the p900's new functionalities. But there's no real difference anyway with regards to the calendar and tasks so old Handy Day versions would probably work.

From an interview with some hotshot at SE, he said that all old P800 aps will work on the P900. But now I can't seem to find the link to that interview... I know it's here on Esato in P800/P900 somewhere...
