Right here we go...I'm pretty sure what the general response to this is going to be but I'll say it anyway.
I am very tempted to trade in my beloved P800 and get myself a T610.
I know the P800 is a great phone/pda and that it can do all sorts of fantastic things but to be honest I'm bored of it. When I got my P800 in early May I couldn't put it down, I was installing software left right and centre. I would be constantly putting new videos on it to show off to my friends, putting new albums on to listen too while walking to places and playing games all the time. I have found that recently I hardly do anything on it anymore. I have played around with it more in the last week than I had in the whole month before that and that's only because I've been making Tracker 3 skins for friends.
I'm also a bid fed up of having such a huge phone in my pocket all the time. It was never a problem before as the phone was so good I didn't mind. Now I'm getting bored with it, I'm missing that small phone feeling I liked with my T68i and Nokia 8210 before that.
The best solution would be to get a T610 and keep my P800 as there are still some handy things on there I would use from time to time. The problem being I'm not as rich as some of the people on her appear to be

I can't afford to go out and buy a £230 sim free T610 and I can't afford to pick one up for free on a £20 a month contract as I still have 6 months of my P800 contract to pay off.
This all leaves me with one choice. Sell my P800 and use the money to get a sim free T610. What do you guys think? Do you think I should just do it or wait and try to save for a T610 as well as my P800?
I've been looking around already for prices of second hand P800's and new T610's......I know I'm going to give into temptation soon and do it...I'll then probably spend the next 6 months regretting it.

Good point. Though it's a matter of preference / pocket size?

Some ppl drag a laptop + a phone with them when needed, and i used to be one of them. Now I don't need do that. So a smaller phone couldn't really replace my P800 to let me do all the stuff on the run.

I could always sell a few old phones I have lying around, I'm sure I have a 3330 and a Sony Z5 somewhere. If only I hadn't given my T68i to my brother when I got my P800.

Hi im serious about the swap deal mate.
My t610 is 2 months old from 02 online so has little customisations but as you know can be unlocked for about £20. Really good condition but I fancy the p800 or sendo x when it comes out....
It is fully boxed with instructions and you can have the additional radio headset thrown in if you want?
Oh and it aint got a delta (TNT) charger)
Email me at
andy_symo@hotmail.com if you want to come to some arrangement.
cheers

If its just that the phone is snug in your pocket, maybe you should get a belt clip for it. Hell of alot cheaper than a t610. ;-)

I see your point, must admit i'd thought about trading in for a smaller phone myself - but i know i'll miss the mp3 thing, you got to admit the sound is really good on the p800
