STOCKHOLM, Sweden (Reuters)
"Ericsson, the world's biggest producer of mobile telephone networks, beat expectations with a 1.0 billion crown ($129.6 million) adjusted pre-tax profit for the July-September period, excluding restructuring charges, versus 507 million crowns in a Reuters poll of 20 analysts and a loss of 3.6 billion crowns a year ago."
"Sales were 28 billion crowns, down from 33.5 billion a year earlier but above the consensus forecast of 27.5 billion."
