I am currently making the switch from PC to Mac, I have a Bluetooth dongle on order but have been reading about problems with iSync and the P800.
If you have already sync'ed with Outlook or similar then when you sync with iSync some of the contacts are messed up.
Can you remove any details of the Outlook syncing or revert back to a clean state?

I would do all the necessary transfers and adaptation from pc to mac and make sure I have everything the way I want it on the mac. Then I would start to sync, if possible after perfoming a master reset of the P800 but at least wiping out the P800 data in the first pass.
However, I'm having major problems with my P800 sync under Panther: works most unreliably. But I never lost data or duplicate the whole lot like many others.
