I downloaded the file R2A04Package5.exe, MyPicturesR2E.exe from sonyericsson.com and installed in my machine. The Phone is Detected via IR port.
I edited first the file from photoshop and make the size to 101x80 and save as .gif with 64k color.
I open MyPicturesR2E.exe and click the insert picture from file and I click color dither then I click send picture. It uploaded the picture but not in color. I tried the sample pictures from the website and still the same.
I dunno if I miss something or the software is not correct.
btw, the SW version in my Phone is R2A013.

Thanks

I have used the same process myself, i cant really understand wyh it hasnt worked. I take you made sure the file size was 3k or under as the phone only accepts these file sizes. I found that i edit pictures in photoshop then save the file. Then find the same file in explorer and right click the file & scroll to send to infrared recipent. This seems to work fine, from pc to phone & visa vursa.
Hope this has helped.

you might have selected the wrong phone, Rxxx insted of t68.
If this still happensexport the pic's from the program to *.gif then send them using the windows protocol (right click on the picture you you want to sent > select "send to" then ir .. or so on)

It could also be that you are using the wrong pallet, If you search the forum you can find the correct one.

LEONSKIE > If you are uploading via IR-port, your picture can be up to 8 kb,..the 3 kb limit is only for wap.

BUT your problem is probably the SPEED of your IR,..set the speed to 9600 (its probably too high now).

I can upload with 19200 in speed, but to be safe, set it to 9600
If the speed is too high, it will mess up your picture.

You dont have to use MyPictures for sending pictures via IR. Just leave the picture out on the desktop, and right-click image,..send to "infrared recipient" as someone said earlier.
