> Problem with T610 to PC via USB Cable
Bookmark topic
Hey Everyone,
I'm new to the forums, as have just got myself a T610 - however I am having PC connection problems.
I have purcahsed the Konnect USB cable which came with software - but there was nothing for the T610. I have gone online and found the T610 Handset Manager - with the connect cable this has worked for a while but now it has packed in
I really want to make my Outlook address book sync with my T610 - however the software that came on CD Rom with the phone does not detect the phone as being present - am I not doing something possibly?
Any help is REALLY appreciated.

Welcome to Esato!
I don't know about that cable but I havn't been able to establish a connection between a computer and the T610 other than through IR or bluetooth (I bought bluetooth especially for this reason), but I do think that someone can help you. Not me though.

Try reading through
this, it might be of some help. There is also an explanation there how to check if the cable is working at all....
I have successfully used cable and bluetooth for connecting to my T68 and T610, relatively problem free.

Thanks for that - I have identified the USB port using device manager, the cable is working fine according to Hyper Terminal and I have at last managed to synchronize my Outlook with my phone - however I still got an error message half way through - but it worked none the less.
I am now trying to get the Sony Ericsson image Editor to communicate with the phone - but that still says no phone detected!!
Any thoughts?

Well, since the sync is working it means MPM is working. Give the Image Editor some time, it can be a bit slow detecting the phone....
