Is anyone having problems with Orange internet services over the past few days in the UK. On friday I used my T610 to send a email and it worked perfectly. Yesterday I tried to send a email and it connected then said trying to find server, then if left it would finaly say can not find server. I have tried various settings. As standard my T610 was on Orange GPRS Internet and this has always worked. I am on Orange pay and go and I have had my T610 since the end of August. Is this anything to do with Oranges free 3 months internet access. However I have always been charged for using wap and sending emails but could this be something to do with it? Or has anyone else experienced similar problems with Orange over this weekend. Even if I press my internet button on the side of my T610 it connects then says loading. but nothing ever comes up it just stays like that for ages.

Yeah, Ive tried gprs wap aswell and no joy with that, it just seems that all of Oranges internet services are down, I don't know if its just around certain areas, I would of thought if it was the whole of the UK there would have been a lot more threads complaining about it

It is ALWAYS worth ringing them if GPRS appears to be down for a couple of hours (assunimg that yo have checked everything you can, reset your phone etc).
If the problem is very localised, they may not know until someone rings them!
This advice was received from the Orange support staff.

@mwright, you said reset your fone, well the email was working perfectly on friday night, but then yesterday morning there was nothing. So surely its network related and not a fault of the fone? Plus that I don't really want to go and do a master reset, specialy if theres no garentee its not the phone at fault

Sorry I was not suggesting a master reset - just take the battery out and put it back again. It sometimes works!

Oh, ive tried that with the battery yesterday but no joy, I think i'll just wait till tomorow when I'm at college, be in a different area nad try accessing the net with my T610 then, if it works then I'll try it at home agen, if not then it must be Orange.
If it doesnt work in a different area, then i have no idea what it could be
