Hi folks,
I have a T610 connected to T-Mobile in the UK. My POP3 email works perfectly - I can send & receive easily when connected to a free mviva WAP account.
I'm off the Las Vegas in a couple of weeks to get married to my lovely girlfriend and wanted to use my T610 to take a few quick pics and email them to the folks back home a few minutes after the ceremony. Will I be able to simply add the appropriate international dialling code to the start of my dial up WAP number to enable me to send emails from the states or will I have to set up a US-based WAP account?
Does anyone have any experience of this?
I thought maybe I should set up a T-Mobile GPRS account (The Sony-Ericsson site has the facility to send me the account settings) as I know that T-Mobile are also based in the USA and this might offer me a compatible connection.
What does everyone reckon? I'd be grateful for any assistance.

When you downloaded the settings for your wap account (I presume that's what you did?), did you get a choise of downloading settings for using it in all the world? If you have downloaded such settings there should be no problem. If you have not, I suggest that you check with your UK operator and ask them for such settings. The best thing is of course GPRS, fast and it should work anywhere as long as your operator has a roaming agreement with a operator in the USA.
One thing I'm sure of, it won't work just to add the international dialing number.
The easiest thing to do is to call T-Mobile in UK and ask them. They will give you all info you need. Good luck.

If you have international; gprs roaming enabled (check with T Mobile but afaik they do) you can just use it fine.
I am on T Mobile NL and I could email and WAP via gprs perfectly from the USA. No problems. Just make sure your roaming is enabled.
