> Removing Cingular Settings on T616

I have an unlocked T616 from Cingular. I'm using it on a different network. Is there a simple way to remove all Cingular settings including the first Icon of the menu that is labeled Cingular?
Also can the Message alert tones be customized with our own sounds? For example can a WAV be converted to an AMR sound file and use that?

No you cannot change the message alert tones to anything that is not in the message alert tone menu

But masseur is right, you CANNOT use that for ringtones, but I found use for it when I wanted to listen to a prank call I recorded on my phone which I later transfered to my computer...
