> unlocking T68i
Bookmark topic
Hi, i'm new here and just got my first Sony phone as have been a nokia man for the last few years.
I got a T68i which is Sim locked to Orange (UK) provider. Ive also got both a data cable and a T28 service cable.
Is it possible for me to unlock this phone myself using the service cable so i can use it on other networks, ive seen lots of posts where you log the phone and pay someone to unlock it remotely.
Can anyone suggest software that will unlock my phone?
Ive searchd this forum but cant find a direct answer.
Thanks all.

There are a few programs out there. perhaps you should

! Be wary, because all the programs around usually charge to give you the unlocking codes.

www.gsmphonesource.com or gsm.virtualdynamix.com charge US$10 or less for each log.

Thanks for all your replies.
Its more of a challange to see if i can unlock it myself! and seeing as i got the cables for this phone thought i'd like to try.
I got the software that generates a log file, but what do i do with this log file now? ive also got some software that requires a DIV dongle that plugs into the LPT port, has anyone seen any plans to build a dongle or know any software that does not require one?
Thanks again.
