currently have this service on my phone for wap browsing over gprs.its £4 for 10mb
orange have just launched there orange world portal and have some new pricing which is not as competitive for me.
does anyone know if they are planning to leave exisiting open access customers as there are or try to move us to one of these world packages were you get a lot less mbs a month
thanks

If i wait till my contract is up, cancel then start a new one then its 80 for phone, 4*50=200 minus 4*25=100 which i pay anyway, Which gives a total of 180 over and above what i pay at the moment. No insurance on new contracts though so this would be another 60 This message was posted from a T610

As I understand it, existing customers on Open Access (subscription or trial) will remain on the Open Access plan. New customers requesting the service will be offered the new Orange World plans.

Depends on your outlook, new packages do have less data included, but you aren't limited to WAP only. Personally my WAP usage is paltry compared to internet usage, so I'm better off on the new package, but wish I could swap the MMS for some more data.

Fully agree that the new pricing is a lot harder to explain across the board despite in some respects appearing to offer a better deal (cheaper data costs if nothing else).

Just rung orange, they say existing open access customers(even if on 3 months free access pack)will still be able to have it cus its classed as a different package to the world packages! If u stop ur access pack,u wont get it back:-l This message was posted from a T610
