> Best UK Deal For P900 Upgrade / New
Bookmark topic
Hi all,
What has everyone paid for their P900's? I'm due an upgrade in January after my current 12 month Orange contract 'expires' but I've been hearing people have been quoted as much as £299gbp for an out of contract upgrade?
If that's the case, surely it's cheaper to just get a new contract?
Also, is it possible to port a number from one Orange contract to another? I don't think it is?
TIA - M

I'd ask this question again in January as that is 2 months away and things will change by then, especially when the P900 is much more available

from orange it is £249 on a £50 contract, but on the same one you can have it from onestopphoneshop. co.uk for £69.99.
my contract for my p800 only runs out in march so what i have done is dropped it down to £13.99 a month, 750 mins to landlines each month and im gonna use it instead of my land line to save the phone bill, and ive taken a second new contract for the p900!
WELL IM NOT WAITING TILL MARCH!

I have paid £249.99 for the phone
with a 1st month tariff of £50
then £15 a month for the rest of the year.
Not a bad package, i think........

Thanks for the replies so far.
With the onestopphoneshop.com £69 deal, how long do you have to stick with the expensive contract?

As far as the number porting goes, as far as i remember they won't port from one contract to another but will port from an orange payasyougo or another network. All you have to do is drop your contract to payasyougo 1 month before you want to start up your new contract. does mean waiting another month after your contract expires though.

Thought I'd bring this back to the top as more people have bought P900's now.

Cheapest resonable way I can see of doing it on a contract is YP 700 from Onestoppphoneshop, works out to £335.91 over the year, getting the phone for free. Or for a cheaper monthly charge YP200 which works out to £395.90, phone costs £179.99. But they've only been advertising the phone for three weeks and they have already dropped the price by £15.00 so I'd hang fire until the new year.
