You can chose vibrate by clicking on the speaker icon. However, if the phone is connected to the charger, it does not vibrate.
I am posting this in case someone is trying their new phone out while charging, like I was, and can't get the vibrate to work. It was driving me crazy until I thought to try it off the charger.

Also, when a phone is cradled it would shake it when ringing.
(T68 was exactly the same)

Once, long long time ago.

when I was fourteen, I had a Startac Motorola..and indeed it was not vibrating when charging.. it often didn't vibrate but that was the phone... once long time ago

now.i'm twentytwo
