Does anybody know if you still need to keep the P900 turned on for the alarm clock to work?? It will be silly for SE not include this basic feature on a new product but then, who knows...

I read in fijberts P900 FAQ at My-Symbian that the behavious is the same as the P800... i.e. the alarm still does not work when the phone is turned off

Yes thats correct. When the phone is off.. the phone is really off. But I don't get why this is not working!

What really annyes me about the alarm clock is tha it doesen't ring for too long. it stops after about 30 sek. does SE really think I'm going to wake up with just 30 sek of noise?!

Have you trieed using your own MP3 or WAV as an alarrm signal, this can be longer & louder i think.
I set a reminder (with an alert) in the "Calender" app, this way it keeeps coming back every few minutes
