SWEET-HEART can't we add this ability to our P800s, i mean you are trying to add the communicorder on the P800. Why not try adding the mp3 ringtone feature to it too?? That would be a really great idea.

All of our hopes r with u SWEET. Good Luck.

Hi Guys,
I just bought P800 not long, so still pretty new with it.
I'm aware that we can use wave file as ringtone.
What abt msg tone?
The default one is too soft and boring.

I was thinking of using the "Uh-Oh" tone like those in ICQ msg tone.
But dont really know where to change this tone.

If you guys know, pls advise...

Thanks!

Cheers!

And the good thing about the P800 (and prob 900) is that if you load the wav you want to use into windows sound recorder and encode using the GSM format, it still works OK and sounds the same on the speaker for a bitrate just a bit bigger than MP3. (but dont listen on headphones as it sounds crap through them)

Yoo of course you can have mp3 as ringtone.. but whit mp3 i mean to convert it to wav ^^, and you should use cooleditpro to chose the best part as signal, ore else the file will be like 50mb per song ^^ Good luck dude
