> Converting a nokia car kit for P800

Hi,
I have a professionaly fitted nokia car kit in my car but now own a P800. I have bought the HCH30 holder and was wondering if I get the ericsson cable I can cut off the nokia cable at some point before it disappears into the nokia holder and attach the ericsson cable? Has anyone done this and if so is it straightforward?
