Is there any product out there that can expect this new format of MS? Or is it that Sony/SE have released the memory stick before the product?

true but the p900 has the same copper connectors on its batterey terminals as the net walkman so by that theory p900 will support duo pro.

read the 6MB P900 white paper. it states there that it supports Duo of up to 128MB only.

I have tried a 256 duo pro in my P9, & can confirm that it fits fine but doesn't work.
