I still remember about 2 months ago when the reviews of the p900 came out, lots of people said they wont get it because, firstly its not the much different from the p800, and 2nd-ly, SE's gonna bring out another smart phone out 2nd of next year. But ever since a couple of guys saying that they got the p900, everyone seems to changed their minds, and by now(p900 finally out) eveybodys looking for one.
I have to admit, first when the phone was still a rumour and first pics shown on here....when i saw it i was like:GETTING IT!!!, but after reading mobile-review i was like:hm.....maybe not, i think i will wait for the next one(assumming it would be a lot more advance and more functions than the p800)
But now its like....if i sell my p800 for 200+...blah blah blah....then i can get the p900 blah blah blah....
so is it because its here that made everybody changed their mind? or it is because:people are all getting the p900 now...i dont want to be the odd one with the old sh!t??
anyways my final decision...i think i will save my money until the next one come out, or when the p900 drop down a bit, it is a bit pricy at the mo

when it hits the streets reality sets in, your handset is now looking old....not a nice feeling for some.
you may wait for the price to drop, then what may happen is the only thing that drops is the value of your P800....its catch 22, sometimes there's a window of opportunity when its right to sell and upgrade as you lose the least amount overall, could well be right now for P800 owners....look at the T68...not even worth selling now for most people, depending on global location you can pick them phones up 2nd hand for the price of what the batteries were going for new.
people who will buy your old phone at a high price are often those who dont have net access....and there's alot of them about, just dont grow a conscience after you sell it.

seems like a lot of people are upgrading because they have to have the latest, they like the look of the P900 better, or whatever other reason.
personally, while i think SE have done an excellent job refining the P800 concept, i shall wait for the next one. i think that the next model after the P900 is not that far behind. and judging by what is going on with the networks and some of the competition, i'm pretty sure the next one will have EDGE capability at the very least, if not UMTS.
now that would well be worth upgrading to...

same here as well, my bro got me saying that i will give him the p800 when i get an upgrade the first day i got the phone. He does it with everything i get, laptop, MD player.....him and my sis always try to remember to "call for it" first...whatever gadget it is......and for the p800 this time....looks like he will have to wait a few more months!

Well I'm not changing my mind.
I'm not buying the P900...
1) will wait for a newer model or for the price to REALLY drop.
2) will buy it if I win the lotto.

I always did and still do hate the P900! I prefer the P800, PSP or even the 7700! But thats my personal choice!
