A while back I emailed

and asked them the following:
"I have heard rumors from other people on a very popular forum (www.esato.com), that
your company would be supplying software/firmware upgrades for all your popular phones,
beginning on October 31, 2003. I wanted to know, for starters, What phones will be available to
recieve upgrades. I know that on your newspress, you stated the P900 would accept, but I have a
t616, and I want to know where that phone stands with upgrades. Also, When will the service be
up and running, What methods your choosing for online upgrades, (via bluetooth, infrared, cable)
and if there will be PC software we would need to download. Please respond promptly. your
cooperation is greatly appreciated.
"
They replied with the following:
"Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Online Support.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact the following number with regards to the
firmware inquiry: 1-877-234-3249.
If we can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact the Sony Ericsson Contact
Center at 1-800-374-2776; press 1 for English then 1 for Customer Service and Technical Support
to speak with one of our representatives directly.

Ok, I got an answer, 10 minutes ago, I called

and they said, that no upgrade is available for the at&t wireless version of the t616, but a whole new upgrade is scheduled to be released NEXT WEEK! That's all phones, and she also stated that the Online upgrade is currently being worked on 24/7 and should be up and running sometime this month, and for sure, NO BS working before the month ends! How's that for an answer?!?! YES!
