According to
firmware upgrade department, the T610/616/618 will be having a new firmware upgrade next week! That is the week beginning 11/9/03. Sometime next week expect a new firmware upgrade available.
New improvements:
Smoother java
bug fixes
Camera functionality improvements
the most anticipated of the new improvements, the ability to finally choose your own sound for SMS recieved! FINALLY!! we've been waiting since the T68i to do this!
