Me!!!
After all I said about not buying a P900 I am now sitting with one quietly charging in front of me and it feels pretty damned good.
Those of you who have read my many and varied posts on the subject, sometimes gentle, sometimes vicious and always witty, will know of my great animosity at wasting money on the P900 when I already a P800, which has basically all the features of a P800, except it isn't as shiny.
I will admit it, I am a complete and utter hypocrite, but its not as bad as you think. My P800 did have some tiny scratches on it so it really was time to replace it.
I was standing in the phone shop today looking at their range (my father wanted me to advise him on upgrading his phone, hence the reason for me being in the phone shop in the first place) when my eye suddenly started wandering across the various displays. I questioned myself, "What are you looking for?"
"A P900," I answered myself.
I was a little frightened, what was I doing? I couldn't control myself as I started to scan the shop for any sign of a P900. I had suddenly become convulsed with thoughts of its sexy little contours and cheeky little display. Principles be damned! Scotsboy had to have it! I interrogated sales assistant after sales assistant in shop after shop. Meeting nothing but slack jawed yokels I hung my head in wearied despair and trudged homeward.
A late trip to the local shopping centre and once more my Tochimadaesque questioning began on the hapless sales assistant at the CPW. After forcing a confession from him he scurried into the back and came back with a black box. Throwing my head back and laughing like a musketeer I threw all thoughts of Pandora to one side as I thrust the box open and ransacked the contents, eagerly looking for my prize.
I could feel my hands getting clammy from its wonderous touch, my legs were buckling at the mere site of it. Having scribbled on some pieces of paper and thrown some money at the sales assistant I charged out of the shop like a Hun on crack, barging people out of my way, knocking small children over, banging into an elf (sad what students have to do for money isn't it?) and scattering a man's newspaper, I raced back home to meet my new friend.
As I said, I am a hypocrite, but I'm a hypocrite with a P900 now ...

@lectrosul
I always carry a utlity bill on me, don't you?
Actually I had to race back home twice to get ID. The first time I realised I didn't have any on me, the second time I had taken a bill that was too old, finally I got a bill that was recent enough.
@ PhonePersonality
If you look back through my various insults against you, you will see that I do advise people to buy the P900 if they want its functionailty.

See I am consistent ... sometimes.

Glad to see someone recognize and admit how much this toy really is worth the hassle.... I guess it was worth me suffering a lot of grief by our fellow comrades when I jumped the gun just to buy one early(LOL)...

@Bigfeat, the backlash was only because it appeared your original thread where you strung everyone along for ages about having the phone.
It made you look like you were full of crap & it will take you while to live it down, have you got a p9 or is this another silly PR stunt.
Did you see ll the posts with people swearing about you & your "made up rubbish" posts.
I am very surprised you think they have forgotten.
