> Messeging on P800
Bookmark topic
I have had my P800 for maybe 5 months now.. and the messeging on it has really become intolerable...
i have searched all over for something better/// i heard of something celled ezitap or something like that... but really it is no comparison to my old 8310.... i was wondering if anyone has any new information, or if not, this could be good to have everything centralized, easier for everyone else also?
i know it would help me alot.
Thanks alot from everyone

Unfortunately there is no good way to write smses using the flip because T9 for P800 doesn't exist. There are two good programs however, very helpful with writing not only smses. One is EZTap which uses virtual keyboard, the second is Personal Jotter for handwriting recognition.

Why not learn to live without the flip?
Once you get used to the handwriting recognition it's far faster than T9 most of the time anyway.

That's true. I have flip removed in my P800 and normally i use virtual keypad, but in some cases it would be convenient to write smses using only one hand. Unless you are able to hold your phone and write with stylus using one hand

When i first brought my P800 back in febuary, i too struggled to write a sentence on the screen or even use the keypad, but it didnt take me long to become a master, now writing with the pen for me is a breeze, my advice is pratice makes perfect.

I think i disagree.
The P800 handwriting recog is horrendous! Things like the "I".. how does one write it? Most of the time it comes out as an "L" or "r". They could've just stuck to the Palm handwriting recognition input, so much better... Or maybe get t9 for us
