Please take note
If you receive a text message on your mobile from the number 15477
Indicating that you have won a 2 night stay in the Druid's Marriott in Wicklow, saying that you must reply with the text "#90" or "#09", you should delete this text immediately and not reply.
This is a fraud company using a device, that once you press #90 or #09 and reply text, they can access your "SIM" card and make calls at your expense.
Forward this message to as many friends as you can to stop it.

It does sound a bit suspect. I allways delete text messages like that anyway. Probably missed out on cars, hollidays, apartments, the list goes on........

its just helpful information, if you dont want to know then dont read it....in following with this helpful info, if you receive an email attachment and you dont know who the email is from then DO NOT open it....it may contain a harmful virus.

Thanks for the info, best to be safe rather than sorry. i have won so many things at some point or another, strange as i never enter competitions, they must think people are stupid, the funny thing is, most people are. if in doubt chuck em out.

As the general concensus of opinion seems to be 'thanks for the heads up' it might be worth bearing in mind that not everyone has the technical knowledge that others possess.
Surely it's better to pass on any information than to keep it yourself?
It may well be illegal in some countries to proliferate bogus information, which IMHO is a good thing, but bear in mind that those laws may not be applicable to the country of origin of the original mail.
