An obvious feature that I noticed was available on the P800 and removed from the P900 is using the jog dial button (down) to flip to the previous short cut on the short cut list. This was only done with the "flip open". Tracker has a setting for the "jog dial down" to control certain commands (ie - close current app, popup tracker, prev app, etc..). Has any been able to get that to work? I'm trying to figure out if its a bug in Tracker or if I need to just reinstall it. With SE changing the "jog dial down" command to no longer move to the previous app I wonder if the latest Tracker release was too late in capturing this device function output change into its code. I have confirmed the "jog dial down" does mechanically function as I was able to execute some functions with "flip closed/open". I just can't get it to work when Tracker is running. If anyone has been able to use the "jog dial down" to work with the latest Tracker and a P900 please give some feedback.

This may have been talked about but SE Senior Eng Reps have confirmed that firmware upgrades will be made available online. I'm picking up another P900 soon to see whether my firmware is different.

BigFeat,

In Tracker, the jogdial Press up and Press down works perfectly in my P800. Here is how:-

-Jogdial press up = press jogdial towards you (i.e. Press it forward to the screen infront) not up to the microphone jack,

-Jogdial press down = press jogdial away from you (i.e. Press it backward to the the battery)not down to the IRport.

As you already know, the Jogdial in P800 works in five ways i.e.

-------------Up-------------

Behind----In----Infront

-----------Down-----------

Hope this helps.

@Aiwarikiar, Although that information may be of help to someone not familiar with a P800, you may not have noticed that @Bigfeats post was about using tracker on a P900, NOT a P800, the P900 has a more complex use of jog dial & some tracker features are affected.
