ok, here is the story...
recently I bought an unlocked p800 off ebay. I've been using it ok for 3months with an o2 simcard. For the last 3 weeks I havent been able to make or recieve calls & the phone displays a 'emergenc calls only' box when I click on the signal bar.
So i assumed that for whatever reason, o2 were having network problems. WRONG the sim card works ok in my old nokia phone.
Ok, so maybe my phone is damaged. WRONG, my vodafone sim cards works ok in the p800.
So now I cant understand why I cant get any btcellnet, o2 or genie simcards to work in my phone.
Has it somehow become locked to vodafone only?
I'm at a loss here, I dont know who I should contact to sort this problem out. Will emailing o2 be any good? I bought it off ebay so they might not help.
Please please please help me guys

the reason i've had this problem for 3 weeks is because o2 phone support sux. Everytime i've called them, the line has been engaged
I'll keep on ringing. But i'm not sure if they will be able to do anything about a phone I didnt buy from them

I thought that. But none of the simcards i've tried have worked

Maybe i'll request a new sim to rule out that possibility
