Hi,
I am thinking of getting a PDA for my lectures... thing is the size of the keyboard... I am thinking of getting the UX-50 beucase it has a good keyboard size... But I am not sure if it will be good for long term typing...
1. The speed at which I can type
2. Long term effects to the fingers
Have any of you guys tried it before ? If yes, can you give me some advice ?
Also thinking of the NZ-90 because it has a digicam but that has an extremely tiny keyboard which might be bad for typing...
I have a VAIO R505TE which I want to work from but the fan is so annoyingly loud ! Only 750MHz but for some reason, it is quite loud...
So ur advice is very much appreciated.

My suggestion is that you look at
www.cliesource.com as they have a whole thread on the Clie UX50
Also, IMO the Palm T3 with its external (but portable) keyboard maybe a better option as the T3, when horizontal, has a larger display area (size of screen not resolution) than the Clie UX50. You can get more information on the T3 from
www.palminfocentre.com

This is a great product, I thought about this PDA, but it had no telephone capabilities, if it had I would have brought one, No questions hands down....
In my opinion this is the best PDA on the market...

I have one, its awesome, the WiFi is great as well, very robust, worksin public and network access points very well.
The keyboard is pretty good actually, the keys are nicely spaced and the input is fairly fast and accurate.

Just bought a Clie UX40 since I won't be surfing from a PDA but from my laptop instead, so no need for WiFi... Got it for $425 and $475 inc. postage to UK... good deal ? BTW, see how do you get the tax to minimal/ no tax ? I know some dealers do something but I am not sure how to do it... Any suggestions ?

@AceCobra1
Ask the dealer to mark the item a Gift on the customs slip or to say the value is $24, otherwise you may have to pay vat @ 17.5% and £20 (approx) import duty.
