> connecting t310to pc with data cable

i just bought data cable for my t310.
(Data cable has label Eri T39/T68)
when I try to use MMS Home studio Or Sony Ericsson Image editor. The phone beeps and disply "Optimized Charging" on the screen.
But the program didn't detect the phone.
what should I do?
Did I purchased correct data cable for the T310?

it's like this. you are probably buy a "flash" cable. i had that problem to. u must remake pinouts in the cable. find the shematic for eri t39 and see pinouts for data and flash, and just replace it, and that is that:) if u need some help send me e-mail and i will help u:) Cheers:)
P.S. flash pinout is 6 data in & 7-data out. to make data cable do this: remove little red wire from pin 11(last one) and pin 9,and leave just black wire in pin 10. now data in from 6 connect to 4 and data out from 7 to 5. and U R ready to go:) Cheers again:)

About a month ago I bought serial cable(RS232, not USB). It also has written ERI39. And I use T310 too. But, it is not original accessory. It is made by no name manufacturer. And me too don't know if it is DCR10 or DCR11. But, I don't have no problems with it. Image editor, MMS studio, and all other software(found on net) I use, works without problems. Then, when I joined this forum, few days ago, I saw that everyone recommend IrDA adapter. So, I bought one too. Maybe for you to buy Irda adapter? I use one from SWEEX and I pay it about 40EURO. I bought my cable for about 10EURO.
I must mention that when I post some question on this forum, and said that I use RS232 cable, one of the people who answered was surprised how T310 can work with that cable at all. So, maybe there is some issues when usie serial cable...
I don't know, but my cable works great.
